cheshire pop choirs are all about having fun, spreading joy and singing your heart out!
We welcome all enthusiastic singers, experienced or not, to join a local choir in Nantwich or Northwich and experience the joy of singing together with others.
Cheshire Pop Choirs have been running across the region since 2010.
We describe ourselves as a pop choir mainly because we sing whatever’s popular!
Current chart music, classic pop and rock, soul, Motown, musical theatre and anything else we like the sound of; it’s all on the table! Songs are often suggested by our members.
We rehearse approximately 40 weeks a year, split into 3 terms with breaks at Easter, Summer and Christmas. The choir always has something to work towards, with (non-compulsory) performances at the end of each term. Performances may include singing on theatre stages, in care homes, busking, tv appearances and charity fundraising.

FOUNDER/CHOIR LEADER
Heather has lead Cheshire Pop Choirs since 2010.
She has a gift for creating a lively fun environment which singers thrive off and audiences love - her enthusiasm for music is infectious.
An internationally acclaimed vocal teacher, Heather has dedicated her professional life to understanding the voice and helping singers get the most from theirs. She set up Heather Baker Singing Studios in 2001 which is now the largest dedicated vocal studios in the North West. Heather is also one of the founding directors of the Institute for Vocal Advancement– one of the world’s leading voice teacher training organisations.

Amy Woodhouse
ASSISTANT CHOIR LEADER
Amy has been a member of Cheshire Pop Choirs since 2018 and now provides cover for Heather and assists in the running of the groups.
She is a level 2 IVA singing teacher based at Heather Baker Singing Studios, having been teaching since 2022.
Amy absolutely loves singing and working with singers.
